A fun day at the pumpkin patch!

Fall is my favorite season! The temperature is perfect in the 60's or high 70's...not too hot, not too cold. The leaves change into these amazing colors that are beautiful. I just love fall! One of our family traditions is going to the pumpkin patch. We always take the kids to the pumpkin patch in October and last year we found a really fun place to go. Today we went there and had a great time with the kids. They each got to pick out a pumpkin, they have a giant jumping pillow, a tram to ride on, a box of corn kernels to jump, roll and play in, and a corn maze.

We had a fantastic day with the kids enjoying some fall festivities!

Addison's Baby Dedication

Today we had Addison's Baby dedication at church. We asked my brother-in-law, Lane, to come down to do her dedication. It was such a special day surrounded by family and church family as we dedicated our precious baby to the Lord. The Lord blessed us with Addison and today we had the priviledge of "giving her back to the Lord", as we committed to teach her to know and love Jesus.

This was a day to thank the Lord for our 3 precious blessings! And a reminder to us and to the church that we need to live our lives in a way that they see Jesus in us.

Thank you to our family and our church family for loving our kids so much!

Dance & Karate

A Few weeks Chloe started dance class and Micah started karate. They are so adorable in their outfits and they absolutely love it.

Chloe goes first. She is in a dance class that teaches ballet, tap, and tumbling. She is really getting into it now and will do all of the little moves.

Micah goes next. He loves it... what could be better for a boy than being encouraged to make noise and move around alot.

Poor Addison, she sits patiently, waiting on Bubby and Sissy to get done with their activities.

Good times~!

Chloe's 4th Birthday

Yesterday, we celebrated Chloe's 4th birthday! It was an amazing day with an amazing little girl. I found myself reflecting on the last four years...where we have been and where we are now.

Most of you know Chloe's story, but for those of you who do not, let me share. When I was 25 weeks pregnant with Chloe, we found out that our precious baby had a heart tumor. This news was shocking, I was getting an ultrasound on my kidneys and they happened to look at the baby during the ultrasound. The next day the phone call came that our baby had a heart tumor. Many ultrasounds and doctor visits later we were hit with the news...our daughter would probably be born with a disease called Tuberous Sclerosis (a disease where tumors grow in the heart, brain, kidneys, and lungs to name a few). The next year would be transformational for Jesse and I. When Chloe was 6 months old, she had an MRI on her brain that confirmed she did have TS. This moment began a year journey of faith filled prayers for healing on behalf of Chloe. Our church, our family, and our friends rallied around us to pray for Chloe.

The ending to this story is that a year later the doctors did another MRI on Chloe and the tubers were gone! This never happens and simply is not medically possible, but with God all things are possible!

So yesterday, as we celebrated her 4th birthday. I was thankful to the Lord for protecting her health over the last four years and for answered prayers...Miracles!
